Liability Waiver for Kids Reiki Sessions
By booking a Kids Reiki session, parents or legal guardians agree to the following terms:

Participation and Benefits: Reiki is a gentle, holistic practice designed to promote relaxation, emotional well-being, and balance. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. Participation in Reiki sessions is entirely voluntary, and results may vary.

Parental Responsibility: Parents or legal guardians confirm that their child is physically, emotionally, and mentally capable of participating in a Reiki session. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to consult with a qualified healthcare provider before booking if there are any concerns about the child’s ability to participate.

Assumption of Risk: Parents or legal guardians understand and acknowledge that Reiki is a complementary practice and accept full responsibility for any risks, known or unknown, associated with the session. This includes any potential physical, emotional, or psychological responses that may arise during or after the session.

Release of Liability: By booking a session, parents or legal guardians release and waive any claims against Abundant Balance Reiki Energy and Sound Healing, its practitioners, employees, and representatives for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation in Reiki sessions or related activities.

Presence of Parent or Guardian: A parent or legal guardian must be present during the session and will remain responsible for the child throughout the duration of the appointment.

Forms and Consent: Parents or legal guardians must complete and submit the Intake Form and Informed Consent Form (provided in the booking confirmation email) before the scheduled session. These forms are required to proceed with the session.
By booking this session, parents or legal guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Liability Waiver. This agreement constitutes a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the State of California.
